Ingredients
½ oz fresh lime juice
½ oz unsweetened pineapple juice
½ oz sugar syrup
1 tsp syrup from maraschino cherry jar (optional)
1 oz barbados rum (Plantation XO)
1 oz dark jamaican rum (Appleton Estate 12)
3 oz crushed ice

Put everything—except aged Jamaican rum—in a blender. Blend for 5 seconds. Pour unstrained into an old-fashioned glass or specialty glass. Serve Jamaican rum separately in a shot glass, to be poured into the drink. Sip assembled drink without straw.
