Directions
1
Flash blend and open pour with gated finish into a double old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a mint sprig or rock candy stick and a toast to sailors of yore.
Notes
Dare to compare: For the Don the Beachcomber version, substitute the simple syrup and allspice dram with 1 ounce of SC honey syrup and ¾ ounce of seltzer. The Don the Beachcomber’s version was traditionally served with an ice cone. If serving with an ice cone, after flash blending, strain over the ice cone.
Moment of Tiki Don version rums: Dark Jamaican (Hamilton), Demerara (El D 8), Light PR (Don Q)
